Yes, it was definitely an uphill struggle, but I’m glad I did it. Lots of learning involved! Thank you all for your comments,. I’m now enjoying being able to update you each month.
Oh dear, I’ve learned a lot about how much MORE has to be done with the website! I’m not using it effectively at all!
So, it’s back to more learning. I’ll fill you in after I take a few webinars.
The book — as of August, 2023.
In 2003 we visited a pen friend in the Czech Republic. I wrote a diary — constantly — while we were there. Recently I typed it up on computer. Then, gradually it changed itself into a book. Up to now I have been writing to agents, but then I did a webinar for non fiction writers.
So, look at this guy, folks. Butter wouldn’t melt, etc. eh? A nice guy. His name is Max Sinsinheimer. But after his webinar for non-fiction writers I was crrrrushed! He tells me that I need a marketing plan! If it’s non-fiction I have to know how it’s going to be sold! He also said, when explaining the book to others, do their eyes light up? Er. I don’t think they do. He is right. I need to work on it. I’ve got some ideas to make each chapter even better, so with reluctance I can say, “Thank you” Max, after all.

Influenced by a book called Mind Change by Susan Greenfield, I keep watching how others are being sucked into more and more two-dimensional media, when they are losing their ability to communicate effectively in three dimensions. I contrasted that with a recent visit from the States with our eldest daughter’s family and the joy we had just being together. I included many paintings of my husbands to brighten up the beauty of our time together.
I’d love to hear from you!
